Richard applies an extensive background in financially focused roles in the healthcare industry to his role as CEO of Elevaris. He has nearly 25 years of experience in roles across purchasing, financial planning and analysis, and as Chief Financial Officer for multiple companies. Coupled with his financial modeling experience, operational efficiency certification, and tenure in asset management, he is uniquely qualified to lead efficaciously and drive efficiency and profitability for both Elevaris and its customers. Richard earned his B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Muhlenberg College.
Paul McDermott

Paul brings an extensive background in finance, business, and corporate strategy counsel to his role as CFO. His experience spans industries and roles of increasing responsibility with the renowned Boston-based MFA Companies, which was acquired by Baker Tilly in 2001. Paul obtained his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and his MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Tom Graham

Tom has more than 35 years of experience in business development and strategy, marketing strategy, product development, brand development, and leadership across industries from construction to automotive, technology, and healthcare. He is especially versed in the outsourcing and product development of medical devices. Over the span of his career, he has held roles of increasing responsibility from engineering design and management to managing director to Chief Operating Officer. Tom obtained his BSc, Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University, his MSc, Engineering and Product Design from the University of Warwick, and is a graduate of Insead.
Jack Leo

Jack has more than 15 years of experience as in-house counsel in the medical device industry, including as General Counsel for OrthoSensor, Inc., a medical device start-up sold to Stryker Orthopedics in 2020. Prior to his in-house work, Jack practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardell in New York and Greenberg Traurig in Miami, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Jack earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and his Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.
Jason Pedaci

Jason has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. After starting his career at Cardinal Health, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for Suture Express, a private equity-owned surgical distribution company sold to Medline in 2019. Jason has held roles in operations, finance, commercial, and executive leadership. He earned his B.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and M.B.A. from The Ohio State University.
Erin Hicks

Erin has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in the medical device, pharmacy benefit management and semiconductor industries, where she has supported engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and sales. Over the span of her career, she has delivered transformational results in the areas of talent development, strategy, culture, and inclusivity. Erin earned her B.S. degree in Consumer Sciences and Management from Purdue University.

Steve is an accomplished revenue growth leader with a proven track record in business development and strategic sales. He is intensely focused on aligning Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Steve has a BSME, Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
Tae-Hang (TH) Lee

TH leverages his more than 30 years of experience in medical device manufacturing to manage Elevaris’s South Korea manufacturing sites. Over the span of his career, he has developed a systematic approach to continuous improvement through the deployment of various disciplines such as Six Sigma. Immediately prior to joining Spectra, TH was a plant manager for a kidney dialysis solution manufacturing site at Gambro, which was acquired by Baxter. Earlier in his career, he was a quality and plant manager at Bayer (Animal Health) and quality manager at BD. TH earned his B.S. from KonKuk University and an Executive M.B.A from EducAsia.
Rich Mulvaney

Rich is an experienced senior manager with manufacturing expertise in operations, quality, manufacturing engineering, maintenance management, CI lean facilitation, and supply chain and project management. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has secured APICS qualifications in supply chain operations. He draws on these experiences to help him optimize processes, improve efficiencies, eliminate waste, and drive business results for Elevaris customers. Rich received his BA in applied Management from the University of Sunderland.
James Bate

James brings years of engineering experience and institutional knowledge to his role as Director of Engineering for the UK and US for Elevaris. His performance as the Head of Engineering for XL Precision Technologies made him a natural fit for his role as a business lead for the Engineering Center of Excellence as Spectra Medical and XLPT integrated.
Kathy Dassler

Kathy has more than 30 years of Quality experience in the medical device industry and oversees the company’s Quality Management System including: NPD, supplier management, and compliance. She also led the successful implementation of the company’s EUMDR certification. Previously, Kathy was the Quality Manager at Smith and Nephew, supporting various roles in QMS including: new product development, supplier management, and compliance. Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Fitchburg State College.
